Engines     These are just two of the Miss Elam Plus' stable of engines which set the standard for qualifying for the 2007 Unlimited Hydroplane season.  They powered the boat to being the High Qualifier for all six races of the 2007 season, plus powering the team to wins at four out of the six races!  That does include being the winners of the 99th running of the Gold Cup, and finished the season as the 2007 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! Whispering Turbines, Inc. is a licensed FAA Certified Repair Station.   Our repair station is licensed to repair and overhaul  Lycoming T 53 L-11 A,B,C,D Lycoming T 53 L-13 Series Lycoming T 53 -17 Lycoming T 53 L-703 Lycoming T 55-08D We also build T 55's for Unlimited Hydroplanes

Whispering Turbines, Inc has built engines for some very competitive Unlimited Hydroplanes, including the U-16 Miss Elam/U-96 Spirit of Qatar, The U-21 Freedom Racing Team and the new U-17 Our Gang Race Team and helping out several of the other Unlimited race teams.
