This T53 L13B was prepared by Whispering Turbines, Inc. using Ingot Aluminum Compressor Case Halves supplied by Five Axis Industries
Tracy and Adam after the winning of the 2007 Gold Cup Whispering Turbines, Inc. is a Domestic Repair Station specializing in Gas Turbine engines. We build engines used in helicopters, Unlimited Hydroplanes, Off-shore race boats and pleasure boats. Whispering Turbines, Inc. produces some of the best performing gas turbines in the marine turbine industry. WTI prepared gas turbines that have set the standard in the 2007 Unlimited Hydroplane season.
Owner Tracy Bratvold has been a Powerplant Mechanic for over thirty years. He has worked on Hydroplanes since he was 16 years old- this has given him the knowledge and expertise to be a leader in engine technology for both the marine industry and the helicopter industry. Adam Bratvold has worked for WTI for the past 13 years. He is now a prized member of the team- the perfect compliment to his dad!
Our shop is located in the pristine Bitterroot Valley in Hamilton, Montana. The shop is top of the line in every way- we all take great pride in our beautiful working areas! All projects can be shipped in or personally brought to WTI.

This engine was built by Whispering Turbines, Inc. for the Miss Elam Plus to be used for the current Unlimited Hydroplane racing season.
